Associate Director for Equal Opportunity Programs
Mitchell reports to the Executive Director of Equal Opportunity and Access, and assists with the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives.
In this role, Mitchell supports the Executive Director in coordinating the responsibilities of implementing the University’s Affirmative Action Program. He is actively involved in programs and initiatives of the Office for Military-Affiliated Communities, and supports the Associate Provost for Equal Opportunity Program with budget management.
Mitchell brings project and operations management experience from prior roles at Hewitt Associates, NorthShore University HealthSystem, and Northwestern Medicine. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Wittenberg University.
