Deputy Title IX Coordinator

Scott brings a decade of EEO and Title IX experience to the University of Chicago.  Most recently, Scott was the Title IX Coordinator for the City Colleges of Chicago.  He was responsible for student and employee investigations, provided district-wide training and oversaw all Title IX reporting and compliance efforts.  In addition, Scott previously served as the EEO Officer for the City of Chicago, where he managed and coordinated the City’s internal discrimination and harassment complaint processes.  Scott also worked as a labor and employment attorney in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois.

Scott received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.
