Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students

Renae brings over fourteen years of experience leading efforts to address gender-based harassment and violence by working to increase the visibility, utilization, and effectiveness of prevention and response services. She most recently served in several roles at the University of Oregon, including as the Director of Crisis Intervention and Sexual Violence Response Services, Deputy Title-IX Coordinator, and Assistant Dean of Students for Prevention and Response, where she oversaw the University’s response to student crisis.

Prior to the University of Oregon, Renae served in various roles at the University of California, Berkeley; University of California, San Francisco Medical School; and community non-profits serving those impacted by sexual violence. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Renae specializes in providing direct services to those impacted by sexual misconduct, those experiencing acute mental health crisis, returning veterans, and students adjusting to college life.

Renae holds a master’s degree in social welfare from University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Southern Oregon University. She was also a fellow in the Leadership in Young Adult Health program at the University of California, San Francisco Medical School.
